Bridal shower picture from last weekend



With Lara and Ivanka who "accidentally" wore almost the same dress??? Huh?

I thought Ivanka and Lara were wearing the same dress and it was some weird new bridal flex to make your bridesmaid wear matching dresses to the shower now too. But looking closer they are just slightly different. Lara looks so awful. Ivanka looks good here—I don’t like her but I’m glad for her that she’s separating from the toxicity that is her dad a little bit. Lara is just becoming her own font of toxicity and it’s showing on the outside. She looks like a weird anime ghoul with those filler features and super smooth skin.

Is that Marla in the purple? She looks good. Maybe she’s the one Trump wife to escape the curse. Melania’s dress looks like a muumuu. I think she’s really leaning into the whole “I don’t work for him anymore” vibe and is settling in to become an typical post-menopausal Eastern European woman. I love this thread, although I am worried about the prospects of another 4 years of it. I like Melania’s dress- it is different and looks super luxe and modern. The rest of the party (and Marla does look great) look like some hybrid of Dress the Population and LoveshackFancy and somehow it looks dated. Whoever is in the belted dress with pink shoes: mutton dressed as lamb, no feminist friendly way to put it.

The dress is odd, but have you ever seen Melania looking so relaxed and happy? They honestly all look genuinely happy in that pic, for whatever reason.

They look surprisingly normal. Almost like regular people. But don't be fooled.

Melanie's dress is so weird and unflattering but I also kind of like it. Tiff looks good - happy. Her mom looks gorgeous.
