| My DD took the HSPT on 12/16 (rescheduled from 12/9). We are at a public school. Do we get the scores sent to us or do we just find out if she was accepted at the schools she applied to? |

| HSPT organization doesn't provide them to parents/students (unlike SSAT and ISEE). As I understand it, the school doesn't automatically provide the test scores, but will if you request them. |

Thanks, that says every testing center decides how to handle scores, so PP does appear to be incorrect for the AD of DC. Here is the info for DC: http://www.cvent.com/events/archdiocese-of-washington-high-school-placement-test/custom-20-557c4a441a0d43e6b21c90762f215c40.aspx?dvce=1 "Q: When are test scores released? A: Test results are emailed to families in January. The test scores are released in the third week of January, and are sent to the email address on the HSPT registration. " The last test is tomorrow, so 3rd week makes sense. |

| I just saw the SJC has received my DS's scores. Not sure why I haven't received them yet. Odd that schools get them before the student. |

| Does anyone else know why they don't release them to the parents until after the school gets them? DS took his on 12/16 and SJC has them. Hate not knowing how he did! One anxious Mom here : ) |

| My DD took the HSPT at Paul VI on 12/02/2017. We received the results in the mail, in an envelope sent from Paul VI, with a note from their Admissions Director on 01/02/2018. |

Awesome! Thaks for the information. Is that the same test as Archdiocese of Washingon? Or does Va have its own Diocese and test?
Did your DD take it at her Catholic school? We are coming from a private school and took it at SJC. I heard the kids who took it at their Catholic school got the results already. I thought they said we would get a email with results directly from the testing administrator not SJC where he took it and is also applying. Appreciate your feedback! |

I don't think this is typical. Really nice of the school to do. Two years ago, my daughter took the HSPT on December 12 and we received the score report via email on January 22. |

I'm the previous poster with the information about two years ago. My daughter also took the test at SJCHS and was coming from public school. We received the results form STS Scoring Center, not from SJCHS. |
