Ugh. I just needed to complain about this. he looks fantastic. I meanwhile only need to lose about 15 but so far nada. |
I know, OP. I've been on Weight Watchers since August and have managed to eke out a few pound weight loss (which no one has noticed or commented on) by weighing, measuring, carefully point counting.
Meanwhile simply because I haven't bought cookies into the house and have prepared meals WW style, my husband has lost 30 pounds. Everyone comments. It's not fair, is it? |
Get bloodwork for hypothyroidism. |
Are you eating carbs and sugar? Cutting curbs works. Just have cooked veggies and protein only. |
Yup, this is my family too. DH just has to stop drinking beer and he drops 20 lbs, looks great. |
Joys of being a man. So many perks. |
Another thought: he could be hyper-thyroid. Makes you lose weight. |
It’s so unfair. My dh is constantly trying to eat more so he isn’t so skinny. |
Same bullshit happened at our house last year. I have PCOS and struggle to lose weight. I was eatin 1200 calories/day for three months and lost five pounds total. He stopped drinking beer for the same time frame, and otherwise ate the same tons of crap, and lost 12 pounds. |
How old are you? Are you exercising or just calorie cutting? Are you doing the low-carb thing? |
Same here. He just stopped eating three meals a day. Like maybe two. I have less and less willpower the older I get. And it's the holidays. |
Yup, DH started working out regularly, subbed his bagel with 4slices of cheddar and two eggs for greek yogurt, and cut down to one beer /night and lost 20 lbs. I have always worked out, eat carefully, etc, and struggle to stay a good weight. |
Men lose weight more easily than women. They build muscle more easily as well and have more lean muscle mass. It’s not fair, but it’s physiology. |
Same here. Good to know it's physiology. |
Low carb and intermittent fasting worked for both of us. |
