Being presentable in bed

Anonymous
Are any of you still conscious of pleasing your DH/DW/SO etc. in your personal grooming habits and what you wear to bed even on nights when there's no sex? Or have you reached the point where neither of you care?

If there's no sex I don't care if she wears her team building exercise '99 t-shirt.

Recently upgraded my look... no more pj pants and old t shirts. I just pile on blankets so I can wear booty shorts and no top. Also stay way more on top of hair removal. Great decision!

I sleep in a sports bra or bralette and short shorts anyway, and DH is into the athletic look so everyone wins.

I've never worried about this with my husband, even before we were married. I just wear whatever.

I've always slept naked, regardless of whether or not I'm in the mood. I also always keep myself groomed as I'm more comfortable as such.

I always wear nice nightgowns or pajamas - never flannel pajamas with cupcakes on them for example or old tattered t shirts. If something gets worn out or faded, I replace it.

Do any of you have children old enough to enter your room by themselves? We do and there is no way any of the lesser clothes options would work!

I always wear a nightgown but nothing that would get a rise out of him in bed though it often ends up on the floor. Once in a while I will wear a silk nightie when I am really sending a signal. He always wears boxers which I enjoy getting into before they too hit the floor.

Don't you all have to get up with kids in the middle of the night?

Yes, but I always put my nightgown back on and my DH his shorts.

I have a 5 year old. I keep a robe hung on the wall. DH keeps shorts in his nightstand. Has never been an issue.

No. Ds is 5. If he does wake up, DH and I both have clothes next to us to throw on.

I keep boxers next to the bed. If my kids see me naked for a moment so what.

Clean and naked is what works for me. Robe on foot of bed.
