| So not fun |
| Nope. Mine (one college, two high school) are helping me get dinner ready while watching National Lampoon and we’ll all head to Mass later this evening. Visiting grandparents tomorrow (they don’t LOVE that - no cousins - but we deal). They are being wonderful this holiday. |
|
My teen and preteen are both sick. Ugh!
The elementary kid is SOOOOO excited though so that makes up for it. |
| My eleven year old wanted my candle at Christmas Eve services (better wick) and almost (accidentally) lit me on fire grabbing for it. A family discussion (in front of grandma) about age appropriate expectations ensued on the car ride home. Embarrassed and pissed. |
| My teens (16, 14, and 12) are actually getting along. Hope tomorrow is better OP. |
| I accidentally put my teen DS's Versace sweater in the dryer and it no longer fits him. He is pissed at me and now I owe him a new sweater. (his GF had bought it for him) I don't blame him for being mad, but it was in the general laundry hamper and I did not read the care label. Sigh, I can't seem to win. |
| Nope. They helped me finish wrapping gifts today, the oldest ran out and picked up lunch for everybody. Now dh and I are watching The Grinch with our teens. |
| kinda |
| Not mine but family members’ kids are. It’s just the holidays and the excitement but I feel for the parents. |
| My 12 year old and 8 year old are bickering. |
I would view this as a lesson learned for him. If you want to have your laundry specially handled, you do it yourself. |
+1 Do not buy him another sweater. |
Send Fyakrit and her sibling to their rooms or they can wait til Tuesday to open presents! |
A friend from church's then-14 YO son lit his grandma's sweater on fire with his candle ten years ago, so could be worse. She still jokes about it at age 88. She talks about it so much you might think it was her favorite part of the service ? |
| Yes. Ugh. 16 is a bad age so far. |
