Just confirming that this means he's looking to get laid--correct?
I've been out on one coffee date with him and just got a text asking about tonight to "netflix and chill" Not really sure how to respond to it. After meeting him for 30 min, I'm not ready to get in bed with him. |
| Yes, that's what it means. Are you physically attracted to him? |
| Yes, that's what that means. You could respond that you'd prefer to go out to dinner to get to know him better. |
| Been married 13 years, and for us Netflix and Chill means turn on a show and fall asleep. Enjoy it while it lasts! |
| Ghost him. |
That's what it means our house! I didn't realize it meant something else ! |
| It's the new "Go to my place and watch a movie." Aka, bang-it-out! |
| If anyone says this non-ironically/without humor they should get dumped IMO |
Haha. Us too. |
| In terms of dating appeal, this is one step above a dick pic. If you're both just looking for sex, fine, but if you're looking to date and get to know each other first, understand that this is not his aim. |
| Totally what he meant. I'd block and delete him, unless screwing is what you are looking for... |
| You sound like a waste of his time. |
+1 He showing you up front where his interests lie with you. You can accept it or not, but you can never act surprised. |
| How old is he/are you? Depending on that, he may just not realize the meaning. I didn't, my 17 yr old DS enlightened me to that one. Not everyone automatically knows that it means sex, since the phrase "chillin' out" doesn't mean having sex. It's not exactly intuitive. |

NP. Why are you so sure it doesn't mean "Let's hang out and watch tv together"?
Or put another way, if he actually just wants to hang out and watch tv together, then how do you expect him to suggest that? |
