Also, of course William cheats. His dad and grandfather are cheats, its par for the course.

I am a huge fan of the Cambridges but I would say it is incredibly naive to imagine William will never or has never cheated. Men in powerful positions cheat all the time. Heck, NORMAL middle class men cheat all the time.

In William's case, all the men in his family cheat, it is part of the royal culture. They have one wife to have children with and create the public facade of the family image with. But behind closed doors there are many mistresses and other dalliances.

Kate, I would imagine, after 20 years of knowing William and his world, understands this and is probably OK with the arrangement.

Do I wish they were a normal middle class family with no infidelity? Yes. Do I think that is likely in their case? No.

The men in Williams family were literal Kings of having mistresses all their lives. Charles famously said 'I will not be the only Prince of Wales without a mistress!'

It’s just fascinating how much his hair changed his whole appearance. Like his teeth are terrible but somehow they weren’t as noticeable when he had a head full of hair.

Hair loss exposed his very tall forehead. As his face appears longer, his teeth appear narrower. That's the optics of it.

It’s so true. He was objectively good looking as a teen.

I love the Cambridges but William has never looked good. I think a lot of white people just think blonde and rich equals attractive. It certainly worked for Diana, who was...blonde and rich.
Thank goodness for Kate, those kids have a fighting chance at being decent looking.

You don't think his order in the line of succession had something to do with it?

Uh, no? His order in the line of succession might make him appealing to some, but it doesn't make him attractive. Charles is next in line. Am I supposed to think he's hot?

Nobody gives a damn who you think is hot or not.

DP. Clearly someone does because we are supposed to believe that William is the sexiest bald man alive.

Who said that?

Royal Rota

It was a very selective poll, like if you exclude every other bald man alive...

No, it was a hair replacement company who said it. Think it through...

Which was then reported on by....the royal rota. Most of us aren’t bald so wouldn’t keep up with what is said by a hair replacement company.

Plus, if you read any history book about royals and aristocrats, having mistresses is not only normal its...expected and not looked down upon. From the Roman Empire to the Mughals in India, a King having mistresses is a regular part of court life.

Middle class sensibilities do not apply to the royals and aristocrats.

It will be fun with the first modern mistress gets pregnant and isn't willing to pretend the baby isn't his.

I remember watching their wedding 10 years ago today. And now I wish them many more years of happiness together!

There is no way he is having affairs. The posters who keep bringing that up look straight up delusional.

If they are faking the happiness that is apparent in the photos and videos, then they would be Oscar level actors. Not likely.

This is a clip from around the same time as the anniversary video. Kate visibly recoils from William’s touch. It was a hand on her arm, so not even close to PDA but their body language speaks volumes. They were guests on a cooking show so they didn’t have the opportunity for endless takes to curate the happy marriage image.

Also, the British press are amazing at throwing shade. The commentators say “I’ve never had a Rose tart before!”

Good find! It’s obvious they have had their ups and downs. Kate is not a very good actress and when she’s tense it shows in her face and she looks haggard.

These days they seem to have found their footing and she is looking very relaxed and happy.

Disagree. Kate knows very well how to act. She does it all the time in public engagements - but the agreement is before she steps foot out of those cars or into public the British press aren't to print those photos.

European agencies don't have any such limits. Here's Kate looking pissed as f**k at William in Poland as they head out of their hotel door and then minutes later putting on a bright smile at the actual event.

This reminds me of the pictures of Beyonce coming out of the elevator after her sister just beat up her husband.

These photos are from years ago. Pre Louis.

It's really funny to me how committed some people are to imagining that they have an unhappy marriage.

The most likely scenario, that they are exactly what they appear to be - a happy family and couple - makes you guys crazy.

They don’t appear to be a happy couple. But hold fast to dreams.

Only the most delusional Kate stans think he doesn’t cheat. It’s what monarchs and future monarchs have done since forever. It’s not even clear to me that she cares.

I'm in a happy marriage but sometimes I give my husband looks that don't hide my annoyance and let him know he's misstepped. Who cares. That means nothing.

She is not a happy woman.

I really think we will see the end of the British monarchy in our lifetimes. After the queen’s reign ends, the commonwealth will leave en mass. That leaves England alone to support the royals, none of whom are as popular as the queen. Then it’s a matter of time. Charles and Camilla are very unpopular. William is becoming more and more unlikeable as he gets older and throws his weight around.

Totally agree, William will be the end. At least Charles is open minded - he's a softie compared to the rest of them.

Wow. Interesting! She looks so angry!

Dp So if you had 500 photographers ( or more) taking pictures of you every minute would you be smiling every second? Kate is not a robot and surprise! has emotions. Doesn't make her "angry" or "sad" The camera just caught that expression at that split second. Haven't you taken a picture ( smiling) and then yelled at your kids for doing something stupid?

I could see this happening if any of the British media/papers grew a legitimate backbone. Right now there is a furor over the Prime Minister of the UK refurbishing his 4-bedroom apartment for less than 80,000 pounds. You didn't see a word about Kensington Palace's driveway costing 1 million pounds to redo in 2019 or the fact that Buckingham Palace is currently undergoing a $300 million renewal in the middle of a pandemic and financial recession in Britain.

The timing doesn't work. Right now, George and the others are cute little kids but when Charles is an old king and Will is near the throne, George and Charlotte and Louis will be beloved young adults, like Prince Harry and Will were. It won't be the right time to hate them and run them off.

maybe or maybe not. It's not hard to imagine a teen royal turning into a monster. Harry and William were beloved because Diana was beloved and the image of them walking behind her coffin resonated. I doubt that George or Charlotte get that kind of deference
