Did she renounce e her US citizenship. When she married Harry or just her Roman Catholicism? |

Sponsorships and merchandise, tv rights |
Lol No, of course she didn't. But she has torpedoed her application for British citizenship. |

There is no way Michelle's team reached out to Meghan, this smells like Meghan (hiding behind Harry's connection with former US administration) mentioned that she would be honored and thrilled to team up with Michelle and help get the vote out and the Obama people diplomatically agreed. But I could be wrong. Meghan has a lot of pull in the underrepresented communities. ![]() |
And cash donations from unsuspecting private foundations, corporations, other non-profits, etc. Since it's an overseas charity it is probably not registered here and would be difficult for the IRS to follow. Who knows, maybe that might make it easier to launder money. For all we know, H&M may be drawing multi-million dollar "salaries" for their roles in Invictus. |
PP. You are probably right about the sponsorships, merchandise, tv rights. But the rest of this sounds like a rejected breaking bad plot. |
If it sounds like a bad plot to you it's probably because it's too real. Happens all the time. In the news right now as a matter of fact: "The four men were indicted for allegedly using hundreds of thousands of dollars donated to an online crowdfunding campaign called We Build the Wall for personal expenses, among other things. Bannon and another defendant, Brian Kolfage, promised donors that the campaign, which ultimately raised more than $25 million, was "a volunteer organization" and that "100% of the funds raised...will be used in the execution of our mission and purpose," according to the indictment unsealed Thursday. But instead, according to prosecutors, Bannon, through a non-profit under his control, used more than $1 million from We Build the Wall to "secretly" pay Kolfage and cover hundreds of thousands of dollars in Bannon's personal expenses." https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/20/politics/bannon-build-the-wall-indictment/index.html Kolfage, according to the charges, spent more than $350,000 of the donations on personal expenses, including cosmetic surgery, a luxury SUV, a golf cart, payments toward a boat, home renovations, jewelry, personal tax payments and credit card debt. |

So much obvious self-promotion for two people who claim to want privacy. I thought the Brits hated hypocrisy more than anything yet their beloved Prince is a walking, talking hypocrite and his thirsty wife is no better. |
Meghan is all about branding herself - that's why she's reaching out to Michelle and Oprah and other powerful people. And before it was nuclear, guess who else she was reaching out to, who was conveniently omitted from the Scobie book?
Ivanka Trump. In her now-defunct blog,The Tig, the Duchess gushed about her new friendship with Donald Trump’s “staggeringly beautiful” and “intelligent” daughter. “When we have drinks, I will make sure I order whatever she does – because this woman seems to have the formula for success (and happiness) down pat,” Meghan wrote. “Don’t get me started on her jewellery collection: The late-night ‘window shopping’ I have done on my computer, snuggled up in bed with a glass of wine, staring longingly at her beautiful designs.” Oooh. |
Ugh. |
