That’s really gross and depressing if her salary is true. Most of the journalists i know at places like NPR, WashPo, etc, made anywhere from $45-95k a year. I’m not talking about people at little regional papers making $30k, either, but national outlets. And laid off in droves for the past 15 yrs straight.

Are you aware of her public persona and the industry she covers. It's a completely job from journalists at NPR, WashPo, etc. "Journalist" is a pretty big stretch as well. It's just a different job.

In the early aughts, the headmistress of an Alexandria private school went away for the weekend and her 16 year old daughter threw a huge party at which she was videotaped having a train run on her in the living room during the party with dozes of onlookers. The video was widely distributed and some were arrested for child pornography.

The headmistress resigned that week and they literally left mid year, back to New England. Thousands and thousands of people know this story.

I don't know what is wrong with the PP claiming these things don't happen... but they most certainly do.
