Her $800k salary was such as disgrace to the profession. Journalists who put their lives on the line and those who actually report on fraud, waste, abuse and criminal activity (and don't sleep with sources) are lucky to make 10% of Russini's salary.

Just goes to show that a pretty face and a willingness to sleep around will take you far in journalism. Having ethics and acutually reporing on stories that matter, eh not so much.

I know I'll get blasted by all the people living on $43,000 a year in huge houses with 4 kids in Nebraska, but 800K in DC really isnt that special. Yes it is a lot of money, but pretty much every single household on my block brings that in.
