Do you remember the MOVE bombing in Philadelphia? Have you read about the Tulsa massacre? How about the violence against the Black community in DC in 1919. I see a lot of questions like yours PP, and my question to you is: What are you personally doing —and risking — yourself to help? What are you “tolerating” — to use your word — while others are risking their lives just by walking down the street or driving their cars?

Wish I could tell I am trying to protect vulnerable people. I am a legal brown immigrant citizen who is shit scared for two adult children, one who has serious mental health issues and in and out of hospital a lot and the other is in serious depression debating me to buy a gun to protect himself if he is stopped by the ICE goons. I am losing my mind and wish I had never left my birth country scared in the middle of violent riot! I am praying day and night that my kids stay safe. Every execution in another part of the state is giving me nightmare!

Do not get a gun. It will put your depressed child in severe danger.
