The Bipartisan Border Bill on the other hand RECOGNIZES the reality of fentanyl smuggling at the ports of entry and proposes to improve staffing, technology, screening and detection specifically for fentanyl and other drugs. Additionally, it proposes a number of other actions, such as putting SANCTIONS on China for subsidizing fentanyl and fentanyl precursors, along with going after the financial networks of organizations involved in fentanyl production and trafficking. HR 2 does none of that. Yet here you are having the balls to complain about fentanyl when YOUR SIDE killed the bill that would have gone after it.

Whether it’s Americans carrying foreign fentanyl across the border or illegals, the fact is that the number of people being allowed to cross the border makes enforcement that much more difficult. And that enforcement falls to the executive, and that’s Biden. That’s his job. He can’t throw up his hands and blame someone else. The law isn’t that you can take classified documents and then say “oopsie” and cooperate and all is ok.

OMG, the fentanyl is being brought over in trucks owned and operated by Americans. The drugs are not being brought over on foot by migrants.

The very first thing Biden did in office was relax immigration restrictions put in place by Trump. He was very open about this.

You can’t brag about executive action abilities and then pretend you have no power, and you can’t relax immigration and the complain about what is coming across the border.

Most of Trump's immigration restrictions already fell apart before Biden even got into office - many of them were shot down by the courts as unconstitutional or not having statutory backing and authority, or expired due to Title 42 expiring.
