In what ways would you be considered trashy?

Guy here and I do the same. I get so many looks from married women. It's awesome knowing I could hook up with them if I wanted and the husband has no power to do anything about it.

Well...I don't know if this is actually true. I doubt you're that irresistible.

Yep. If the husband has a dad bod and is wealthy then you don’t stand a chance and the wife is not looking your way.

Well right now I'm eating mini powdered donuts, drinking moscato, & browsing a forum affectionately known as DCUM.

This sounds heavenly

Snacks, of course. But popcorn? What container does popcorn come in that makes it sneak-able?

I don’t get mani/pedis.
I send my kids to public school.

Not getting mani pedis is not trashy. Quote the opposite, actually.

No honey. Getting mani/pedis is trashy

I'm genuinely curious--what is the non-trashy way to wear your nails? Unpolished? Clear? I do my own nails but find it funny that getting a manicure is trashy.

It’s not trashy. And even if some judgmental internet stranger thinks it is - do you really care?

Getting mani/pedis is indeed trashy. Take a good look at the ladies getting them. ALL TRASHY.

Almost everyone gets at least pedicures during the summer.

But not in the places you're going

Microwave popcorn in a grocery bag. I have a big purse. The kids collecting ticket stubs don’t care.

It’s not that hard. I’ve gone as far as asking for a popcorn container, dump my popcorn in it and gone back to put the butter on it. Now that’s trashy.

It’s just for fun. I don’t usually do that. It’s a good laugh. For funsies.

Given that show popcorn amounts to highway robbery these days - quite understandable.

It was $50 for 2 medium bags of popcorn and 3 cans of water at a show last week!

They checked bags before going into the show - ostensibly for weapons but probably also for stopping folks bringing in their own drinks and snacks …

Or going to Costco? You get good deals there. I don't go to Costco personally but would never pass judgement on somebody who does. Or calling somebody trashy for mowing their own lawn. Have people lost their minds from Covid?

Either a lot of people here have demented notions of what it means to be trashy or I'm way out of touch.

That's the way it is in the alternate universe of the DMV.

No one has explained how drinking a soda out of its container is somehow a sign of low class.

It is! Use a glass.

You still haven't given any reason why drinking a soda out of its can is an indicator of low class. Soda cans are typically (and maybe even the majority of time) taken on the go, which is a circumstance where pouring the soda into a glass makes no sense.

I'm sitting at my desk in my office, with a can of soda I picked up from the office fridge. What point would there have been to me searching for a glass to pour the soda into?

Your opinion on this is based on nothing, frankly.

I agree- the only time we drank soda.. out of a can .. is when we are on the go. Plastic water bottles is trashy though, except teh tiny 8 oz ones which you have to use for conferences, meetings etc.. drinking soda out of those large plastic bottles and putting it in a glass is trashier so soda in a can if teh least trashy way to drink soda .. drinking soda is trashy in general no... arbitrary pretentious nonsense.
