+1 The photo was *very deliberately* set up and taken. And then, of course, published. |
I don’t really care, do u ? |
I mean, me saying I think she bought it from the sale rack was not an insult so much as I was saying it looks to me like she was branching out with fashion more. There's a big difference between politician's wife royal blue/navy and turquoise. All three colors look lovely on her, btw. |
Not generally, no, because I think KL is a piece of human excrement, but I do think it's unfair she is the only one we're talking about. |
Is that truly by the same photojournalist because if so, yeah, that's messed up. |
Why would she allow that? |
I would say the picture of JD Vance was the worst one. Vance isn’t a bad looking dude and the photo is awful. |
She no doubt was not given final approval. |
You're an idiot. This is the photographer's style. There was an interview with him in The Washington Post (I don't have a subscription, I read it through Apple News, so I cannot share it here) where he discussed this. He has taken similar pictures of the Obamas. He has an entire book of close up shots. This was not political. It's unfortunate that Kaylee or Caroline or whatever her name is got lip shots the day of the photo shoot, but it's not his job to photoshop her bad face mistake. |
She chose to mess up her face. |
This is the Trump WOMEN thread. |
Any of these people could have researched the photographer before giving consent to be photographed to see his style, but I'm sure they did not. |
Getting lip filler is not "messing up her face," you idiot. She's a 28yo woman and that's the style. |
You shouldn't be allowed to post here if you don't know the person's name. Regardless, yes. He does specialize in close ups. Here are some pics from 2012 DNC/RNC: Janna Ryan:
Ann Romney:
Caroline Kennedy:
Nikki Haley:
These are all MUCH more flattering than Karoline's portrait. I will say, Michelle Bachmann's is truly frightening. Looks like a DUI arrest mugshot:
