I thought it was worthwhile. My goal was to get a quick feeling for a large number of schools, and it was definitely a way to do that.

Didn’t go. Our Ib is a good school and hoping to get a spot there for prek4. All charters seem to be impossible to get into just like other schools nearby.

My son is looking for a high school. It was helpful for my DC. He spoke to students and admins and he has a much better list now.

We will follow up with open houses at his top 2-3 choices.

It was fine. I wish more schools would offer open houses outside of business hours. I can't make it to most of them. Annoying.

I’d like to know this too. I’d like to know what schools that aren’t usually spoken highly about here impressed people.

But what would be the point of it being an open house if you didn't see the school while students were there?
