Newly married couple (less then 6 months) wants to take a cute Christmas card photo with them and their dog at a Christmas tree farm to send to family/friends. Both mom and best friend say that it's weird to send a Christmas card photo unless you have a family/kids and you only send photo cards if you have kids. I've never heard of this "rule" before and don't see the issue. So DCUM...is it weird to send a couple/dog photo out to family/friends or not an issue? Would you think it's "weird" if you got a cute Christmas photo card of a newly married couple friend or family member with a picture of them and their dog? Thanks!
No not at all. Never heard of this rule. Sent Christmas cards when childless and even single
Not weird. Do what makes you happy.
If I were your friend I'd love to get your card! Please do!

Not at all!
Cat only, a bit weird. |
LOVE photo cards of my friends. Everyone I know started doing them when they got married. Dog makes the pic even better!
Not weird. It’s weird that you refer to yourself in the third person.
Not weird. We sent a wedding photo our first year
Or funny/ironic |
Cheesy/corny but not weird.
Not weird and there's no rule. My husband and I sent couples pic for years before first kid, and this was back in the late 90s.
Not weird and I’d love to receive this card! Your family is weird for inventing a rule that doesn’t exist for something as personal as Xmas cards.
Not weird and there is no such rule.
Not weird. Christmas is not only for people with kids.
No, it's cute, completely normal
