Hair looks great. The bow is a trend that a lot of women her age are wearing and it’s very pretty.

I’m not living the bow trend. I think it looks infantalizing, along the same line as the trad wife dresses with puffy sleeves and florals. There is probably a way that I think hair ribbons could look good on an adult woman but this just isn’t it. This was actually my favorite hairstyle from ages 11-14.

Ok. I love it - very classically pretty.

Did Usha start to dye her hair? If so, when did she make the change?

While the first dress is beautiful, it seems more appropriate for evening in the spring or summer.

It’s a winter floral and appears to have velvet detailing from the description so I think it counts as winter appropriate. Not sure that it would’ve been very comfortable in the last couple weeks here in DC though. Personally I would’ve done tights and a cropped jacket with it. But I think it’s seasonally appropriate.

The visible lip injections are gross.

What’s up with the orange (brown nosing) nose? Is that intentional?

I hadn't noticed the nose because I was mesmerized by the spots on her lips. Her nose is like Pam Bondi's on South Park.

All the Vanity Fair photos are absolutely savage. And amazing.

Idk what possessed them to do that story! I mean, what did they think was going to happen??

Did all the stylists leave town? Did all the dry cleaners who will hem your pants for $20 close up shop?

The lip injection bruises on Karoline, woof. Her injector hates her.

Forget the story, I'm more curious about the pictures.

I actually don't think Karoline Leavitt looks 40 as people are saying. Her skin looks fine. That is what nearly 30yo skin looks like close up with a lot of makeup on. The visible injection marks are gross though.

But I'm more curious WHY she went with it. If someone with a high-def camera got up in my face I would be like, uh, wait, what's the plan here? Like, why was someone zoomed in close enough to capture her injection marks and she thought that pic would turn out flattering.

Unless it was a Sex and the City situation where they told her it was just the test shot lmfao.

I had that same thought!

Karoline's child is still nursing age, so maybe she just didn't pump and that would explain why that jacket is pulled almost to its limit.

I have no explanation for Elise Stefanik's pants.

Another thought about the VF photoshoot: I actually think the men look worse than the women. Susie and Karoline look fine. They have an appropriate amount of lines for their respective ages, not to mention they had makeup caked on for the photoshoot.

I was struck by how old JD Vance looks for 40. Way more fine lines and sun damage than is normal for a man that age, and it's not like he's a day laborer out in the elements all day.

Her upper lip has always looked weird, like it's chapped above the actual lip line. I've never been able to figure out what that is, tattooed lip color? Is that a thing? Or does she do a little lip filler all the time and gets inflammation from it?

JD looks like he is smelling his own farts 24/7....
