Taking baths was no longer relaxing or fun because things were getting a little too tight in the tub...could barely move.

When i could sit on something and no longer realize I was sitting in something, like my keys.

The little boyiI care for asked if there's a baby in my tummy. I said no, just candy and potato chips. He asked if he could have some of those potato chips in my belly and I said no, they're all gone. He said those potato chips are just for you? I said yeah and they're all gone. Time to nix the chips!

OMG tonight my 6 year old told me that my tummy looks like it has a baby in it. I've always had a shelf like bump below my belly button and I guess it looks like a baby bump to him. It's hereditary but my extra weight for my frame doesn't help at all. I chose not to have my usual Friday night wine tonight after he made that comment.

The clothes I bought at the beginning of the year didn’t fit.

When I was just uncomfortable in my own skin. It’s not even a matter of a lot of weight. My clothes get a little tight, yes, but even if they fit I just feel really self conscious at certain times. I recently lost just 7 pounds and feel a world of difference.

Saw a picture and realized I looked matronly.

Realized my weight had been creeping up about 5 lbs a year ... Steadily, for about 3-4 years.

When half my pants didn't fit right.

When I looked in the mirror and thought I looked pregnant.

My knees have started hurting at the end of the day. Just too much weight on them.

When I tipped 200. I'm down from 208 (226 at height of pregnancy) to 196. Hopefully a trend.

The size I begrudgingly bought the previously season were getting snug. That size was already the upper limit in my head, so there was no way I was going above it.

When I looked at pictures from our family vacations and I was trying to hide my body in most of them. Made me sad that I missed out on some great pics because I hated the way I look.

For DH, it was when he couldn't fit into a shirt he knew was my favorite. I'd bought it for him earlier that year.

I was getting back into hiking having gained 40 pounds since I stopped a decade ago. I was tired of carrying the equivalent of a backpack for no reason and decided to lose it. It motivated a better diet, and the exercise helped too.
