Why is the assumption that she is so intelligent? Maybe they are both dumb and corny - therefore, a perfect match.

The ability to write hit songs and play multiple instruments reveals a high degree of brain power.

I disagree. If you read Carol Dweck's research--she's a Stanford U professor--she states that people with growth mindsets can always learn and believe they can improve. With her research proving this, the idea of "being smart" is all in our head. In a sense, what we believe about ourselves -- smart or dumb -- will come true based on whether we believe we can improve or not.

You can learn to play multiple instruments at any age if you have the time and money to do so. Many people--including myself--lack the interest to play an instrument well. That wouldn't factor into this. A person has to have the desire in order to improve or learn in a certain area.

If you really believe this, you have not been around really smart people or gifted musicians.

There is a big difference between someone who works for years to gain proficiency and someone to whom theoretical physics or musical composition comes naturally. Think Mozart.

But Taylor took guitar lessons, and song writing lessons from a young age. She had a website at 12 and her parents apparently took her around many different concert circuits as well (see her dad’s email about collecting ducks). She took songwriting lessons for 2 hours each week after school. So her “genius” was tutuored.

You don’t seem to know much about Taylor’s background. She worked for years to excel — even leaving high school early most days for “talent development” in Nashville. Her first guitar teacher in PA taught her how to write a chorus.

She wasn’t just born knowing how to write songs. Lol

I know many gifted artists and scientists. They work hard.

She’s ambitious, and children don’t help with enormous career goals. I admire people who can raise kids well and have a huge artistic career too. Not easy at all.

I feel bad for any future kids though. They’ll be born under a microscope like a Royal Family member, and privacy will be a struggle.

Clearly, you have no idea. Perhaps she will choose to not have children. How about recognizing that women can do what they please in regard to family planning.

Well, not in every state.

No one knows, but I don't see her having more than one child, if that. She doesn't want to slow down anytime soon.

Well, duh. Sorry I neglected to mention that she may choose to never have children. That really wasn't the point at all.

Her “popping out a baby” was exactly your point.

With Kelce I see 3-4 kids in her future. Kelce will not just want 1. They will have to talk that out.

Well, that is true. There is 1 million other people that could’ve done the same and still not been successful.

Actually, there are 1 million other people who take lessons and lessons and lessons and are not that successful.

Look at all the kids in travel sports.

She had both talent and training.
