I'm not sure you understand what the stakes are here, OP. I could never be jealous of people choosing to marry royalty. It takes a special kind of person to bear the brunt of media coverage, centuries-old family traditions, and representing a country. I am not that person. All I can do is wish her good luck. |

Not really. She realized she made a mistake. However unlike the majority of the DCUM contingent she had enough money, smarts, and negative kids to say - screw this, I'm out of here. Then find the one that was actually worth her. |

Yes and Princess Kate married practically right out of college. Princess Diana was right out of high school. Being an old bride vs a young bride has nothing to do with it. OP does this mean you are going to switch your hate from Princess Kate to Megan? |

Women are always told to marry the first guy they meet at 25 because *gasp!* time is running out; they will shrivel up; no one will want them! Etc etc
But I notice the longer a woman waits the better her chance of finding someone truly compatible whether a Prince or not. Matt Damon's wife was a single mom and a bartender when she met him. High value men clearly don't all want nubile 23 year olds. The ones that do like Leo DiCaprio are gross. |

Revisionist history much? Kate got married at 29 and was called the oldest woman to marry a future King in British history. Diana died heartbroken after saying 'well there were three people in this marriage, so it was a little crowded from the beginning'. Kate waited and knew what she wanted - sure William could have proposed sooner but she is freaking happy. Diana got married to a man who she couldn't see was in love with someone else, even though the world loved her. |
