The Congresswoman was expressing outrage on behalf of the family because the family was so distraught. This is not about the Congresswoman or the family, as such as Trump and Kelly are trying to deflect for you to believe so.

If someone said to me that I said to a grieving widow, "oh, your husband knew what he signed up for'.. then yes, I would probably remember that because I have empathy; actually, I would probably never say that. If he didn't remember saying it, then that's what he should've said, not "I never said that".

BTW, even his own lawyers have insisted that more than one lawyer always be present with Trump because he lied so much. This makes me think he either did remember it and lied or that he's got NPD to say such a thing then completely deny it and seriously believe he never said it. Either way, it's scary that we have a POTUS like this.
