Earlier today I was joking with a friend via text about the conspiracy theories that they'd photoshopped Kate's head into the photo. Like "wow look at these nut jobs online cooking up insane stories for fun!"

Anyone else following this today, and also remembering back to Charles and Diana’s relationship breakdown?

I’ll always remember Diana for standing up to the RF and saying she was done projecting the perfect image which was really a lie. In fact, it almost killed her.

She bravely put all her personal stuff out there - the original role model for It’s OK Not To Be Ok. One reason she was beloved was because she was real. Not that Kate and Will need to share all their personal struggles as Diana did. But people around the world can understand when a Royal/celebrity etc says I’m struggling with something right now.

Somehow I feel like Diana would counsel her son and Kate to handle whatever is going on differently.

People say this but I highly doubt they would keep Kate from the kids in any huge way. a divorce wouldn't be the end of the world but I could see them freaking out over the optics. I have the same opinion if its for a health issue like an ED or some other mental health illness.

And whenever Kate appears in public next, whether it's tomorrow or on Easter or in June or whatever, the intensity around it is going to be out of control. Looking at it with the divorce angle, he's side is being weird. KP mentioned him focusing on work and their sources correcting the stories that Kate’s mom was doing the school runs. Idk what's going on but it does feel like a tug of war.

They go public with that now pretty quickly. Imagine all the sympathy they would get. I don’t think it’s that.

Donning my tin foil hat for a moment, because someone upthread mentioned she could be dead. Why would they be hiding this if that’s the case?

Someone else mentioned stroke, and they are awaiting further progress to announce, and that does seem like it could be a possibility, too. Or maybe she isn’t making good progress and they are scrambling. But even so, why hide that?
