| Educated, single male, 31. Recently relocated, looking for a Catholic Church that is more progressive with some young singles. Work in DC, live in Rockville, willing to travel as far as Arlington. Don't want to hear lectures on abortion but do want to be part of a community. Suggestions? |
| St. Augustine's on 15th and V St. NW has been pretty progressive, historically, though the current pastor is a little more conservative than I care for. |

St. Rose of Lima, Gaithersburg, MD (about 15 minutes from Rockville)

| Trinity in Georgetown |
+1 or St. Mathews downtown, which has a lot of singles activities (or so I hear). |
Move to NW DC and join the UU church. You'll meet many more ladies that way
|
But won't have your Catholic beliefs reinforced, assuming that it's important to you. |
You can be UU-anything. UU Jewish, UU Catholic, UU Atheist. |
Yes, the UU's will accept you, but you won't hear anything about catholic teachings during services. No communion, no priest, no talk against abortion or birth control. Going to UU services is equivalent to missing mass. |

| Another for Holy Trinity. |
| Holy Trinity. Don't even look at Arlington. It's the most conservative diocese in the US. |
| St Camillus in Silver Spring is diverse, focused on social justice, and welcoming. It's a real community. |
| +1 for Holy Trinity |
| We've been very happy at Blessed Sacrament in Chevy Chase. |
