Peace could be had tomorrow, with a withdrawal by Putin. That is the fastest, simplest solution. You want peace, go tell him.
Anyone who says this would not bring peace is caught up in far too many Kremlin lies. |
Yes, it could. But Putin is not withdrawing from Ukraine. So the war continues. Russia is presently losing a 1000 men a day in places like Adviivka. They've given up on trying to encircle it. Ukraine has reportedly sent significant reinforcements. And they will now fight for it block by block. Ukraine is well dug in. The've been building defenses for 10 years. It will be yet another slaughter for Russians. But they will keep coming and will likely take it in the end at enormous cost. Meanwhile, there is talk about another Russian push towards Kyiv. This war is nowhere close to done. Unless, of course, Ukraine runs out of ammo, which is increasingly likely because of Speaker Mike Johnson and his fellow pro-Putin Republicans. |
lol. How embarrassing for Moscow. How will RT spin that narrative? I L-O-V-E IT when Russians can't even keep their own propaganda straight. So the "isn't really a country" racked up half-a-million dead Russian soldiers? If Ukraine wasn't a country, why did Russia invade? Why is the non-country speaking at the UN? If Ukraine isn't a country, does that mean Russia is in the middle of an internal Civil War? Why did Russia seize Ukrainian ships - are Ukrainians pirates????? Oh, this has got to be the best post tonight! BAAAHHAHAHAHHAHHHAA!!!!!!! |

If Ukraine runs out of ammo, here are the most likely scenarios:
(a) Ukrainian Army goes guerilla. Russians are plagued by sabotage, terrorism, internal strive not only in Ukraine, but throughout Russia, for the next forty years. Ukraine will become the unstable "Gaza Strip and Golan Heights" of Europe. (b) Russia starts a mass genocide to remove ethnic Ukrainians. Poland, Germany and/or Czechoslovakia decide enough is enough and invades Ukraine to remove Russian soldiers. Russia now faces fresh, highly-trained, well-equipped troops. At that point, the UK, France, US, etc. would, for all intents and purposes be at war with Russia (the same way intervention happened in the Former Yugoslavia, even though the Former Yugoslavia was not a NATO member, NATO troops were sent in to prevent a greater destabilization from happening). (c) a nuclear exchange occurs. (d) two or more of the above. You see, Russia can't conduct an extended occupation of Ukraine. Using Russian logic, as they've said many times on TV, their solution would be the Final Solution. However, the Russians have seriously miscalculated if they believe that Poland and Czechoslovakia would sit idly by and repeat Nazi history. Germany, of course, would soon follow their lead. No Boris and Natasha. You're not protecting The Motherland - you're protecting The Fourth Reich. |

^^ at least you’re admitting Ukraine is losing and Biden has lost his second war. Now he’s working on losing his 3rd in the Middle East. Gotta figure China will move soon to blockade Taiwan while our military is low on ammo and personnel before Trump gets in. |
|
Still same old same old.
Slavic men don’t count, let them die, no matter the outcome. Too bad the two countries are too blind to see it. It will be good for the U.S. though, no matter the outcome. |
| Still holding my breath. |
The UA isn't going to go guerilla, they just don't have enough ideologically committed fanatics left. The guys that have been conscripted are more than happy to surrender. They'll gladly lay down their arms and not particularly care if they pay taxes to Moscow or Kiev (or Lwów, lol!). |
I disagree. Many have been touched by war, and you don’t need to be male to go guerilla It’s hard to tell Russians and Ukrainians apart, and many Ukrainians have been living in Russia forever Great situation for sleeper cells |
This guy? It's almost like there is Russian influence and "kompromat" that influences American political opinion. |
Trump won’t get back in the Oval Office - just throwing away the GOP chances once he wins their nomination even from jail. |
| Ukrainian sources are starting to buzz that Zaluzhny has been dismissed from his position as Commander in Chief. Who will replace him and what that will mean for the conduct of the war can only be guessed at. |
Its another big event that the Ukrainians can't keep their stories straight on: https://kyivindependent.com/commander-in-chief-zaluzhnyi/ Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi may have been dismissed on Jan. 29, according to sources of the Kyiv Independent and several other Ukrainian media. No official decree has been published on President Volodymyr Zelensky's website yet. A Kyiv Independent source in the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces confirmed that Zaluzhnyi was fired. The source wasn't authorized to speak to the press. Neither Zaluzhnyi nor Zelensky have made any public comments yet. |
Trump wins either way. If he loses Biden is in over his head and liberal kids end up drafted. Conservative warriors arent tolerated in the service so they skate . |
