I've heard stories, but this can't be something that actually happens.
Right? |
|
Have seen both scenarios. Both were women. What about the much younger wives of much married, much older rich adulterous geezers? I am sure both parties benefit.

I know 1 woman that slept her way into a promotion. Their relationship was found out and both were fired.
I was offered a promotion if I slept with my boss and I told him I would get the promotion on merit and I eventually did. I know 1 friend who failed a class at an ivy ( meaning he was going to get a B) he slept with our teacher and got an A. My friend slept with the auto repair dude in college and he fixed her car for free. |
| A man at my office slept with the CEO and got promoted. We all call him a whore now and laugh at the slutty business suits he wears. |
| Yes and she hates the women who actually earned their promotions the correct way. |
| Sign me up for this ... I need a job asap and the traditional channels are exhausting and ineffective. |
I worked with a woman who slept her way to multiple promotions with different men. The last one, they got caught and both were fired. So clearly this is a risky way to go about getting ahead

I know a woman who got a free Ivy law degree because her husband was a professor there (different department). They also had free housing. I said so what if the degree was free, you got it on your own merit- she said no, the professors pulled everyone through because they didn't want a bad rating for the Ivy law school.

| I'm unclear how you sleep your way to a degree. For one of my advanced degrees, I had to work with 20 different faculty. Half were straight women. For the other, I worked with 10 different faculty members. Again about half straight women. My committee was nearly all female. |

In grad school my roommate was sleeping with her married advisor. She told me he was "forcing her" (she didn't like him but she was afraid of what would happen if she said no). Then he divorced his wife and they started having secret dates at our apartment. I asked if she was Ok and she was secretly engaged! Um, ok. They announced this and got married right after she got her degree (he was chair of her committee). The university eventually gave her a lecturer position because she was the spouse of tenured faculty. She claims to be "a professor" to anyone who doesn't know better.
Would she have graduated without sleeping with him? Hard to say. She certainly hasn't distinguished herself professionally since she graduated. |
| Not to my knowledge. |
| In my first year of undergrad, I gave head to one of my professors (mid-thirties and married). It happened a few times. I became uncomfortable with the dynamic and stopped attending class midway through the semester, but he still gave me an A. Not my proudest moment! Now that I'm in my early thirties, what he did is truly unfathomable to me |
What about what you did? You made choices, right? |
| In college DH's lab partner was dating their TA. DH pretty much blackmailed the TA into giving him an A. |
| I know 2 girls who were attractive and were cluelesss software engineers. Everyday, in order to get their work done, the project leads would sit with them to help program their assignments. Every year, each of the two girls recieved highest reviews and quickly promoted from associate to senior level engineering. How do I know? I sat in the same cubicle! |
