Any cute names for your little one growing inside of you?
DH and I started calling my little passenger "Peanut" b/c that is what it looked like on the sonogram. Any others? |
|
I did peanut too but after the 20 week sono we did " big head". And I still do he's 8 months old now with very large head.
Also if I was really hungry or sick or generally complaining I would call him precious. Like "I would do the laundry but precious is making me sick" I got out of a lot of work that way |
| I think "What to Expect" or maybe some other book refers to the embryo at one point as the size of a grain of rice (very early, obviously), and we just started calling ours Uncle Ben. But then it started to sound weird when we said it in public, so we stopped. |
| We did peanut too. Jelly Bean. Then, after we knew it was a boy, we called him by the name we picked out. |
| The baby |
| Twinkies (I'm 30 weeks pregnant with twins) |
|
jellybean! Which of course made me buy jelly bellies when I saw them at the checkout line.

I sometimes call my DH "tater" so when we got our first sono the baby took on the nickname baby tater spud, and once we found out it was a girl we dropped spud and just call her baby tater.

| Tadpole -- even though he long ago lost his "tail" (am 20 weeks). |
| Thumper because she likes to kick me |
| We called her by her name (we knew her gender and name before birth). |
| Junebug - we conceived in June |
| "The baby"; "It"; "He"; "Little thing" - 19 weeks here. |
| Sprout. |
