There’s no way she would become thinner at 40 with three kids than she was at 25 unless she’s actively trying. A

I became super thin at that age from breastfeeding. Not that Kate is doing that now, of course. And yes she could actively try to stay thin, with a chef and personal trainers. She may have an eating disorder, but that’s not necessarily the cause of her absence.

You mean from breastfeeding, restrictive dieting and excessive working out?

+1. Love the post above about "eating better," too. Sure, if by "eating better" you mean Carole's Dukan diet and 700 calories a day.

Malnutrition and starvation can cause inflamed intestines/bowel disorders.. Over time, it could lead to a bowel obstruction and need for surgery.

The digestive system needs some fuel. It’s like driving without gas would harm your car. Teeth also get ruined with starvation because not eating harms teeth just as much as eating too much does

Her teeth look perfect

Modern orthodontists are amazing, aren't they? "Perfect," yes. So do Shania Twain's, but hers have all been replaced.

There is a whole gallery of celebrity "perfect teeth" here: https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/01/10/celebrity-teeth-before-and-after-pictures_n_2448827.html (has before and after side by side)

If nothing else, at least this thread is raising awareness for health issues like eating disorders, aesthetic surgery, colostomy bags etc. and their pressure on mental health so this is a productive side effect from perspective of public health advocates.

Have you ever breastfed? "Restrictive dieting and excessive working out" are things that are the polar opposite of what nursing women are doing. Women who are nursing pack in the calories because they're constantly losing it in their milk. I've never been as ravenous as I was when I was nursing - I could easily eat an entire honey baked ham and be hungry again an hour later. And yet, I was thinner than ever during that time. Sorry that doesn't jibe with your weird narrative.

DP. Yes, honey, lots of us have breastfed. All the issues you mention went away after we stopped breastfeeding. In my case, these problems went away after 9 months of breastfeeding.

Kate is long past that stage. As you know.

Stop pretending anorexia is OK. You're part of the public that pushed her to starve herself. She's not listening to some American moms, she's listening to you and your ilk who think she should be an anorexic clothes horse.

Except some here still insist that looking like a skeleton is OK. Because it makes Kate a prettier princess or something.

Do you typically take it upon yourself to tell thin people they look like "skeletons" and must have eating disorders? Curious - how do you feel about people telling you you're overweight and need to drop some pounds?

that doesn't mean she has an eating disorder!

NP. I know if she does or doesn’t. But it isn’t fair to assume she does just because she appears thinner. I don’t know how to post images or I would, but I did look up some younger photos of her. There are several pictures of her younger and what I would call thin. Perhaps she had more muscle, but I really don’t think her weight is much lower. Maybe a 5 lb difference, 10 max. She is has a very narrow frame. There are changes in body composition that happen with age. A lot of thin women look even thinner in their 40s when the lose facial fat and subcutaneous fat and muscle mass starts to decline. I don’t know about her specifically- but it definitely happens

I posted on one of my socials that I’ve been following the drama. 27 ppl replied they had been too! My UK friend replied that we’ve (Americans) have lost our minds.

You can tell her that the only Americans who've lost their minds over this had mental issues to begin with. The rest of us wish Kate good health and hope she's recovering well.

More accurately, this thread is raising awareness for mental health issues, particularly people who believe and spread unfounded rumors about others because their own lives are so very empty.

Who cares about the intricacies of nursing? Kates youngest is 5 years old. Unless she’s breastfeeding Louis at age 5, not sure why thinness during breastfeeding matters. Kate dieted and lost a bunch of weight and was thin ever since her 2010 engagement to Will and the royal wedding so the Kate is naturally small /thin posters are incorrect.

If it was natural to her, she would’ve been thin at 16 or 26.

Recognizing and admitting your issue(s) is a great first step.
