I AM PISSED! I received a notice in the mail today that our auto insurance is cancelling our policy. It is all due to my DW being, IMHO, a reckless driver. No, she hasn't been charged with such, and I think she is lucky in this regard. But she received three speeding tickets in less than a year. She got off with a warning last month for what could have been a reckless driving by speed charge. When I brought this up and how I cannot continue paying the insurance on her car, she exploded and called me an a**hole and said she is always rushing everywhere between the demands of her job and having to do things like (one time) having to take our DD to the doctor. When she was stopped for the warning last month, she then blamed me b/c I was the passenger and being ungrateful for the ride! ![]() I have been shopping for new policies, and the coverage cost for her car alone is $2,000, compared with $300 for mine for six months. I have asked the insurance company whether there is anyway to do the policy without her, and they say no b/c as we are in the same household they do not know who has access to which car. She is acting like a completely spoiled child and not taking responsibility for her actions. Part of me wants her to simply lose her license so that maybe she will finally learn her lesson. I've already told her she should make sure she has the transit app on her phone so she knows how to get around without a car. |
You have a penis so you are wrong. You came to the wrong place if you were looking for sympathy. |
She sounds dangerous. |
Start doing all of the driving for your kids.
Don't be such a prude. |
Divorce
She sounds nuts |
My kids can drive themselves. They don't need Mom to drive them. It just makes her feel useful. |
So they're almost out of the house?
Good. Divorce. |
We've been telling you to divorce her forever (years?). It us what it is. Until you leave her, nothing will change. Nothing. |
Oh is this that whiney old guy? Meh. |
Move out of Virginia. |
Actually, drive more IN Virginia. 20 over in VA means not a speeding ticket, but a court date for reckless driving. The judge will likely take her license for 6 months+ which will make her wake up. MD is 30+ to get a reckless. |
Use the Waze app - it alerts you to police presence so you can slow down in time. |
She'll never wake up |
I thought whiney guy only has 1 kid. Or is this another whiney guy? |
Drop that Zero and head down to Rio for a much deserved bootylicious Vaca! |
