Thanks for posting. Hopefully other congresspeople are equally alarmed.

Somehow, I think it's going to take something bigger. If Trump were a Dem he would have been impeached by now.

Since he released the emails himself, he can't make any claims of Fake News, the fallback of their base. What rationale do they have now? ZERO.

Yup. thanks for authenticating the emails, Don. He's clearly not getting any legal advice, just doing whatever.

Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

You kinda get the feeling Don Jr isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. I find it completely plausible that he saw nothing wrong with getting dirt on Hillary from a foreign government.

No. Don't give him excuses. He knew that what he was doing was wrong.

Watching news clips of how many times Trump and his representatives (Priebus, Conway, Don Jr., Spicer, etc) outright rejecting any Russia ties and any Russia contact in interview after interview after interview. In fact, not just rejecting, but calling accusations "phony", "fake", and "lies". And then for this to come to light.

Knew Trump and his gang of morons were slimy and certainly knew they weren't patriots or had an ounce of integrity, but this is off-the-charts deceitful.

Crooked Trump. How far our country has fallen in just six months.

And certainly Manafort and Kushner knew, too.

Can't wait to see what drops today as soon as AF1 goes wheels up for France.

The "love it especially in late summer" is so damning that I'm convinced there's direct email evidence showing that Don Jr helped coordinate timing of Wikileaks. That's exactly when the emails were released. The morons checked in on FB for Christs sake, there's no way all of this isn't documented.

NYT has a habit of releasing a bit of a story,, letting the trumps craft a lying statement, and then releasing the next bit that utterly refutes the statement the trumps just gave. More is coming.

At the time of the June 2016 meeting, they apparently already had the DNC emails and had no problems getting them in the public domain over the summer thanks to the dutiful mainstream media that will report on just about any leak.

The meeting with the Russian lawyer seems more likely designed to cultivate a relationship with the Trump family but it did not work. Jared apparently walked out of the meeting after 5-10 minutes. And Donny Trump did not follow up on the alleged evidence adverse to Hillary or her campaign. Where's the scandal?

The scandal is that Donny Jr. accepted a meeting with a foreign representative who he admits promised him dirt on his father's opponent and that's exactly why he met with her. That's against the law. Just that he accepted and met with this person.

And the other scandal is people like you, purported "Americans" (MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN) who have no problem with this behavior. You have become what you say you hate. Swamp thing.

Name the maw or regulation broken please. I want the specifics.

More to the post by, no "dirt" was exchanged.

Again, if you get caught soliciting a prostitute, it doesn't matter if you actually get your willy wet.

False equivalence. Soliciting sex is a crime, talking to someone from Russia not. Try again

Soliciting a thing of value from a foreign power in violation of federal election law? Ding ding ding.

Name the item of value.

No, no. He is too stupid to be intimidated. He thinks he is right and nothing can stop him.

It is information on your opponent, which is clearly stated as illegal. It has tremendous value. This is why the Gore campaign turned over a notebook that belong to the Bush campaign regarding debate answers...ya know way back when politicians had some ethics?!

Don't bother arguing with the Trump supporters. Heads firmly in asses, they believe an alternate set of facts. They live in their own universe. They will parse and quibble and justify and prevaricate right up to indictments coming down and then will carry on. Dregs of humanity.

Didn’t this story come to light because Kushner put this meeting on his SF86?

There is no "wrong" for the Trumps. There is only winning.

No. It came to light after he scrambled to amend his lying ass SF86 that listed NO FOREIGN CONTACT at all.

Jeff Toobin said, in fairness, no laws were broken.

I said it here yesterday.

FEC Commissioner Weintraub is jet-lagged from her foreign paid for trips and was unavailable for response. Just kidding.

You mean he had to amend it yet again. It's what crooks do.

Yes. And of course Kellyanne is out there acting like this is done routinely all the time.
