And the wife also claims she wasn't aware he even owned a gun at all - even though he had it strapped right to his ankle that day.

It's almost like she's completely lying about the whole thing.

+1.

It's pretty obvious, when you watch the video. She shows little interest in approaching and helping her husband, just in taping and cursing the police.

What a joke.

I frankly don't get why AAs allow these jokes to become the voice of their community. I guess the well-educated AAs prefer to simply ignore the crazies, but that's going to backfire, if it isn't already.

And what about her repeated demands "don't do it Keith!"

Don't do what?

What didn't she want him to do?

What did he tell her he might do?

We obviously can't trust her after all her lies which have come to light. And Keith is dead - at the hands of another AA male. So we are left to speculate.

I wonder if he was planning "suicide by cop" all along? It seems like the most likely scenario to explain this strange set of facts.

Just saw a tweet from a local news station about a 2014 protective order Mrs.Scott filed after Mr.Scott allegedly stabbed her.

No matter how culpable a perp is, no matter how violent, if he's black.....all the excuses come out. I cannot believe that blacks (Hi Hillary), are using this case as indication of racism. The guy was an ex-felon, did prison time for shooting someone, also had a restraining order against him from his wife, had a stolen gun, was threatening police with it, and refused to comply with their command - issued 12 times - to drop the weapon, and white people are actually expected to fault the black cop for his racist attitude?

2014?

She filed another one in October 2015. In that PO, she states he carried a gun (even though as a convicted felon, he was barred from even possessing any firearm). The PO was based on her fear of him because he was armed and dangerous.

She clearly lied in her recent public allegations that he never owned a firearm.

And he apparently threatened to kill her and told her he's a "killer"

Got it. - looks like 2004. Keith's stabbing of his wife in 2004 pre-dates his 2005 felony conviction for shooting a man in Arizona.

These two violent attacks also pre-date his motorcycle crash where he allegedly suffered a TMI or traumatic brain injury. So I don't buy his lying wife's excuse about TMI - something she claimed to police and recorded on her cell phone.

I pointed that out the day this happened. She cared more about "getting the goods" on the cops than she did about her husband's survival.

Yeah let's forget all about the numerous other instances of racial profiling and overaggressive policing let's act like this one confrontation is the only one people are pissed about and dispute it by vilifying a dead man!!

So let me get this straight, Pp. Only some people are allowed to focus on this case (like the protesters, rioters, etc.). But those of us who are pointing out facts are supposed to ignore it and find other cases to talk about? Sorry, but I feel worse for the victims of the violence and looting that followed this man''s death than the man himself, who made really bad choices.

Jeff's witness looks credible though - LOL

I don't get the concept of protesting against bias but demonstrating even worse bias yourselves.

Lol well feel sorry then. Get your Kleenex on. Personally I don't think its that serious but if y'all wanna act like Armageddon is upon us over this bullshit and argue til you blue in the face knock yourselves out.
Way I see it, Charlotte ain't the first city to have impoverished and disenfranchised people get fed up and subsequently riled up over an incident of perceived injustice and it damn sure won't be the last city to go thru something like this but they'll get over it. I just hope y'all can.
