For somebody that is such a self proclaimed "working professional", the english in Danni's posts makes me cringe every time. Reading her post reminds me of when I used to edit my friend's papers in high-school.

Even if there are 50 people commenting on this board (which I highly doubt it's that many), the Kane Show has over 143K likes on Facebook and over 101K followers on Twitter. Just because we don't like them doesn't mean that other people don't. I listen every morning and I think the show has really gotten worse over the past few months, but people continue to call in and express their love for the show. They aren't going to kick Danni off because 5% of people don't like her. |

Danni blocked me and now I can't text into the show about anything, it sucks  No free concert tickets for me

Kane has been on Facebook/Twitter for a long time, so naturally, his like count would be high. It was a thing for a while, a 24 hour guarantee (I think) that Kane would follow a listener back when one followed him. It was how he got traction, which all radio shows do, new or old. If Danni has career goals outside of radio (or want to have her own show outside of DC), she will leave on her own. |

The "scam" today was "not approved" by the person getting scammed. So they played a repeat. Why not just say they didn't tape one this week...ugh. Changed the station.
That and when they discuss the Roses are the two biggest problems I have with the show. Yea, the personalities can get on my nerves, but I move past it. I'm fine with Roses, scam, John's Justice, etc. being fake bits, but don't play into it - for example, don't tell us you taped a bunch of them and the person sent the flowers to the right person. Just play it and move on. That extra bit of "fake-ness" is what I can't stand. |
