They are in the office! What else do you want from them? That’s the measure of productivity for PA: butts in the seats in the office, and not teleworking! They are on their phones very by very important America 250 messages by our glorious Chairman, while their laptops are rebooting because OIT pushed some stuff that needed continuous restart in the middle of the day. That’s attending to their duties!

Seriously. My job is to rationalize the expensive office space. Here I am. At my desk. On my phone. Or drinking coffee. Or having lunch. Or the gym.

I now do as little work as possible. Not SEC.

Corporate America is shortsighted. Most employees now consider their employers to be stupid. If the labor market changes in favor of employees, they are cooked. I can’t stand my employer and am concerned about the long term performance of a company that cares more about butts in seats > actual performance.

Across the government and corporate America it’s been made very clear that what matters is being in the office. Everyone ignores that you can just go into the office and use your phone.

At least we are finally getting two-hour early dismissals before holiday weekends. Maybe PA’s heart has grown a size or two?

Don’t count on a bigly improvement in morale. Just look at the track record with the directors PA has chosen. People may be saying this is the greatest leadership team ever seen at the agency, but still …Covfefe!

I wonder who would actually say that. The actual lack of leadership with these directors, bar a couple, is astonishing.

Let’s not be so negative. What other chairman has been able to put together a team with sweet nicknames like walking bro and megamind napoleon? Sounds pretty badass if you ask me.

On the bright side the CFTC won't be moving in this year, take the small wins as they come.

Haha. So true! And all of them are so oblivious how ridiculous they are and how they are perceived. Emperors with no clothes.

Is that confirmed? And when you say “this year” are you saying there’s something in the works for next year?”
