They are in the office! What else do you want from them? That’s the measure of productivity for PA: butts in the seats in the office, and not teleworking! They are on their phones very by very important America 250 messages by our glorious Chairman, while their laptops are rebooting because OIT pushed some stuff that needed continuous restart in the middle of the day. Seriously. My job is to rationalize the expensive office space. Here I am. At my desk. On my phone. Or drinking coffee. Or having lunch. Or the gym.

I now do as little work as possible. Not SEC.

Corporate America is shortsighted. Most employees now consider their employers to be stupid. If the labor market changes in favor of employees, they are cooked. I can’t stand my employer and am concerned about the long term performance of a company that cares more about butts in seats &gt; actual performance. [/quote]
