I just found this as I was researching hoarding and clutter. I'm at a level 2-3 depending on the day, which I thought was bad enough but thank heavens it isn't worse. They say level 4+ indicates you may have a hoarding problem.
Wondering what level other people are. Is everyone really at a 1 or 2?

First one.
Big jump from 1 to 2! |
| Lol |
|
1 most of the time. 2 if I'm sick and just don't care. 3 to 4 back in my teenage/college years.
My sister is 4 to 5. This makes me feel a bit better about her situation, actually. |
| We're at 1 24/7. I'm practically getting hives looking at the other ones. |
| Mine doesn't look like any of those. Part of the room looks like 1 or 2, but in 2 corners of the room I've got lots of boxes stacked high. Like 40 boxes. |
| Yeah agree the jump from 1 to 2 is quite large. I am definitely closer to 1 than 2, are we playing by price is right rules? |
| Seriously, OP. I can't stop laughing at your pics. What is up with the portrait of the North Korean dictator on the wall? |
OP here -- yeah, actually I'm more like you. I have the clutter of a 3, but it is all in laundry baskets or boxes, or piled (pretty neatly in stacks) on flat surface. I saw another checklist where you got "dinged" pretty severely for having more than 3 laundry baskets of dirty laundry in any one room so.... I have a new goal now.. no more than one laundry basket full at a time! |
I think I am comfortably at 1-1/2. |
Not only is he there, but the piles are artfully arranged around him. |
OK here's a different one:

F@$ck, I can't stop laughing. It is so ludicrous. |
They say it is MUCH EASIER to remedy hoarding if you get help before it hits the higher levels. |
| I'm a one in both rooms. I cannot stand clutter. |
