How cluttered is your bedroom? Hoarding scale 1- 9 in picture form

Anonymous
I just found this as I was researching hoarding and clutter. I'm at a level 2-3 depending on the day, which I thought was bad enough but thank heavens it isn't worse. They say level 4+ indicates you may have a hoarding problem.

Wondering what level other people are. Is everyone really at a 1 or 2?

First one.

Big jump from 1 to 2!

1 most of the time. 2 if I'm sick and just don't care. 3 to 4 back in my teenage/college years.

My sister is 4 to 5. This makes me feel a bit better about her situation, actually.

We're at 1 24/7. I'm practically getting hives looking at the other ones.

Mine doesn't look like any of those. Part of the room looks like 1 or 2, but in 2 corners of the room I've got lots of boxes stacked high. Like 40 boxes.

Yeah agree the jump from 1 to 2 is quite large. I am definitely closer to 1 than 2, are we playing by price is right rules?

Seriously, OP. I can't stop laughing at your pics. What is up with the portrait of the North Korean dictator on the wall?

OP here -- yeah, actually I'm more like you. I have the clutter of a 3, but it is all in laundry baskets or boxes, or piled (pretty neatly in stacks) on flat surface.

I saw another checklist where you got "dinged" pretty severely for having more than 3 laundry baskets of dirty laundry in any one room so.... I have a new goal now.. no more than one laundry basket full at a time!

I think I am comfortably at 1-1/2.

Not only is he there, but the piles are artfully arranged around him.

They say it is MUCH EASIER to remedy hoarding if you get help before it hits the higher levels.

I'm a one in both rooms. I cannot stand clutter.
