Anybody have insight into implantation bleeding? Going out of my mind...

So, here's the deal:

Had a sex a bunch while ovulating.

Have been feeling SICK for about 6 days (ovulation was on the 6th, 11 days ago)

Sat, afternoon, started getting brownish discharge, a little pink.

Period is supposed to come the 21st.

Thought, okay, this is implantation bleeding.

Last night (Sunday) RED blood came through my underwear. Thought, okay, this is my PERIOD. Sigh.

Put on a pad, didn't fill it overnight, but there was blood there.

But in tampon all day today, very little!!!! And kind of BROWN again!!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?

Have taken at home tests, negative, but my period is SUPPOSED to be six days away anyway. I am headachy and nauseous...and CONFUSED.

Any insight would be great....I am ripping my hair out....is this my period???

It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. I went through something similar last month. I went to see the gyno to get checked out, everything checked out normal. It's just a weird period. But, you should definitely go to the doc to be sure it's nothing else.

I have had something similar also...spotting brown or pink, maybe a little red one day, then nothing for a day, then back to spotting, then my period has come.

Sorry - sounds like your period is coming...

OP here. Yeah, it probably is my period, but the nausea is SO weird....maybe just hopeful pukiness!

OP here again....NO BLOOD NOW. No blood. WTF????

It could also be a chemical pregnancy (sorry!). OTOH, I started feeling nauseous during the 2ww, so it's possible that you are in the very early stages of morning sickness. I would wait until you miss your period and test and/or call your doctor (if you don't get your real period, that is). Good luck!

i would go get a blood test from your ob/gyn..............

OP here. Thanks for the input everyone. I will research a chemical pregnancy. I sitting here right now, totally nauseous, headache, and there is some brown blood back.

I'll let you know...

Ugh. I feel like shit.

If you ovulated 11 days ago, then you are 11 DPO and could be pregnant. I actually tested positive at 11 DPO. I haven't had implantation bleeding (that I'm aware of) so can't really offer advice there. I suppose it could also be your period showing up early. Sorry - this isn't fun for you I'm sure. I would either get a blood test from your physician or an early test and see if it shows up positive...

You are definitely not pregnant. Go see a doctor, there could be something else wrong with you.

I agree with PPs who have suggested speaking with your doctor. I had all sorts of weird bleeding over multiple cycles, including the brown blood post-ovulation (that would sometimes come and go, sometimes be bright red -basically, it became difficult to tell when one cycle started and another ended). Turned out I had endometriomas on my ovaries. Hopefully, this is just a fluke for OP, but on the off-chance it's not, I woul definitely consult with a GYN.

This topic brings up another question...has anyone actually experienced true "implantation bleeding" and actually been pregnant? I feel like I hear so much about the topic but I've never actually heard of anyone really ending up pregnant after experiencing it...None of my friends who go pregnant on their own ever experienced implantation blleeding and those that did some sort of ART never experienced it either. I want so badly to believe it really is common and it exists but sometimes I feel like we all want to be parents so badly that we end up stressing over every symptom and thinking any bleeding must be implantation bleeding (haha, I know I do!)

So if you have implantation bleeding success stories, please share them and prove me wrong! Thank you!

I know two people who had implantation bleeding (or at least some bleeding) and were pregnant. In one case it was enough that my friend assumed she wasn't pregnant and went another month without figuring it out.
