| ANC Commissioner Kent Boese is running against her. Cant wait to vote her out of office. |
|
I'm hopeful and will work to see Judge Parker boot Nadeau out.

| You should not dance on her political grave too soon. Splitting the anti-Nadeau vote between two challengers increases her chances of staying in office, particularly with the advantages of incumbency. |
| Thank god! I will not be voting for Nadeau. She has used her office to advance her own agenda. She doesn't care at all about the needs/wishes of the folks that voted for her. |
| I read about an Independent in the City Paper, Greg Boyd, who is also considering a run. He has a lively Twitter account under the nom de plume of "Beltway Greg" though it's quite apparent, given the pinned tweet, his true identity. He was mentioned in the Loose Lips column. |
| There are now four individuals running against Nadeau. |
Not good. Power of incumbency is too strong, the anti-Nadeau vote will be split. She will win again. |
+1 Mt. P resident. I can't stand her. Girl, bye. |
| Another MtP resident who can't stand Nadeau. She is useless. Only in DC would I be considered right wing, but Nadeau's brand of economically moronic liberalism is horrible. Not one of the current DC City Council has ever worked in a private business. |
Anita Bonds work(ed/s) for Ft Myer Construction, but I think you are right about the rest of them. |
|
Ft. Myer might as well be a (corrupt) part of DC government. Her work for them was about schmoozing the right people in government.
Off the top of my head, Silverman was a journalist for City Paper. Her job involved covering government, but didn't involve being a lackey. Anybody else?

| Nadeau is a P/R flack. The recent "Baby Boxes" and we'll pay small businesses $50K is pure election year vote buying. Lost control of The Line Hotel and voted to get rid of the old Hardy School last Dec. at a bargain to Bowser's finance chair. Gleefully get rakes over the coals by developers because she has no real life experience. Being a scheduler for a congressman and a p/r rep? Put her in the same room with a savvy developer and kiss the cash goodbye. |
| The baby boxes are dumb. Poor families need real help and the rich ones don't need the box at all. |
Who gets the boxes? |
|
Who gets the boxes? Everyone gets the boxes. Of course, like most things council, no one is sure how much it will cost. Even the Finns say they don't help it was the enhanced prenatal care.
Nadeau is also proposing giving $50K to struggling businesses so they can stay in business. Not sure who will make this determination as to who gets the cash but it is yet another P/R stunt on Nadeau's part. Notice you got emergency legislation to get your dog in the beer garden but legislation regarding the "pay-to-play" culture in the DC govt? DOA. |
