My ex has been hitting on me. Doing stuff like going in for a kiss, brushing my hand, asking me over. He has a girlfriend, but they have a weird relationship that I know little about. They really only see eachother once a week, but I know she isnt married and doesnnt have kids.
My question is for men, I guess. Is he doing this because he's just horny and trying to get laid, or is he on the ends with her and needs a rebound, or could he be legitimately into me? I know this is impossible to answer accurately, but from a male perspective what could be going on in his head. We've been divorced 6 years and to be generous he has been very cold to me since we split. No kids. |
| Guy here - probably because you are free of liability. it's like free meals. |
I thought this but there are so many other women he could go after. It makes no sense why he is trying to get me in bed. |
LOL. Why would someone expect a "free meal" from someone who hasn't fed them in several years? Men are crazy. NP. |
| He's horny, and you're available and familiar. |
| He sounds like a desperate horndog jerk. Ignore! |
I am not available. I am familiar. Just curious why after so long he's trying. I imagine he's been horny in the last 6 years. Will just avoid him though because I dont want to go down this road with him. |
Advice taken! Thank you! |
Just let him know (loud and clear) your shop's closed. He will move on. |
| I would give him a very disparaging "Ewww" look next time he touches you. And any time after that. He will get it! |

If you have no kids, why are you seeing your ex so frequently?!?!?!?!?!
|
I think this is question 1. The fact you are seeing him (for whatever reasons) is sending him signals you maybe "open." So, can you answer pp's question? Why are you seeing him? |
We work in the same industry and I am close with his family. We run into one another several times a week just because of work. |
But the real question is why are you socializing with him? |
I've honestly only ever heard people say this when they WANT to keep seeing someone. There is no one I run into several times a week that I do not live next to or work with. What industry requires you to see someone who you do not actually work with several times over the course of a week? Maybe there is one, but I can not think of one. Do you work together? How close are you to his family? Why? |
