Just broke... BIP filming was stopped b/c of "misconduct" involving DeMario (the cheater on Rachel's season) and Corinne (with the platinum va-geeeen). Apparently they got drunk, started hooking up in the pool, naked, porn???? Complaint filed by a producer (?).
Filming has been stopped and all contestants sent home. I guess there will be a schedule change. Not sure why they didn't just black-out whatever was too much or just leave it on the cutting room floor. But, it must have been significant enough for them to drop the whole season. |

NOOOOOOOO NO NO NO SUMMER IS RUINED.
/overreaction But seriously this is a huge bummer and we better get something even better out of it. I can't imagine why they would send all contestants home. I avoid Reality Steve because I don't like spoilers on the current season, so if you find more about BIP, will you post here? |
| Oh man! This is my fave summer show! |
| That's weird. Why take out the whole cast? And why would a producer file a complaint? As if those producers haven't seen contestants having sex before... |
|
Reality steve refers to https://twitter.com/AmyKinLA for this news.
FWIW -- RS first spoiled Bachelorette with one ending and then (just last week) changed it to another guy! I won't say it here, but if you thought you knew the outcome, you might need an update. |
| This doesn't make sense. So many ppl have sex on that show! |
| Here's the best info I'm finding: https://twitter.com/AmyKinLA |
| Just read Amy Kin's tweets. Something still seems odd. No sex and a producer sued. For what? And why would that cancel the show? People have done worse on the show than get naked and make out. |
Sorry, Amy Kaufman. |
| I am SO BUMMED about this! Feel ridiculous being upset about a silly TV show being cancelled but BIP is my summer guilty pleasure. Also, I really liked raven and was hoping she'd meet someone. |
| This makes zero sense. A producer suing the show she worked for for witnessing people NOT having sex in the pool? |
|
My wild-ass guess is maybe it had something to do with Corinne and/or DeMario being extremely drunk and not able to give consent to the sex acts and/or being filmed? If a producer filed some sort of professional complaint or a police report claiming someone was sexually assaulted (under the assumption that if you're drunk, you can't give consent), I imagine WB would take it really seriously so they could have "we take non-consent claims seriously" if it were to blow up into more.
Totally just a guess. |
That seems the most likely |
Why would that lead to the producer suing the show? They've only been filming a week. Pretty fast for something to happen and a suit to be filed. |
I've seen some things that said filed a lawsuit but then a correction that said "filed a complaint." A complaint could be a police report, a complaint with a professional guild, etc. Producer could have many motivations for filing a complaint - protecting him/herself against suits when the contestants saw the footage, internal troublemaker who wants to do an expose on the show and got through screening, moral stance on non-consent/drinking, etc. |
