How to find out if someone is really divorced ?

Been dating this man for a couple of months. He says he is divorced but a new friend of mine talked to me about him and said he was married.
I was very puzzled. I don't think he's a liar but is there a way to find out online maybe ? Like on a website ? Thanks! |

Op. I've been to his place, he's living by himself and there's no indication there's someone else living with him.

As a man, this would be a huge red flag for me. And if I find out you did this, I would dump you in a second. There are better ways. The correct answer is to go to his place. After two months, it would be a huge red flag for you if he doesn't let you. A sketchier possibility is to call him a couple times very late at night and ask him to come over. Or ask him to go on a weekend trip. Essentially, things that would be difficult to hide from a spouse if done often enough. If he keeps saying no to these requests, it may be a red flag. But he may also think you are crazy and or that you don't trust him or both, and he would be right. And that'd be a shame for you if he is actually divorced and a good guy. If he uses social media, see if his profile looks real (meaning it has friends, and not just a shell account). |
