No
No but you should lay off the pack a day habit anyway
I don't think I noticed being out of breath as an early symptom before I knew I was pregnant, but definitely something I had early in my pregnancy and throughout. I'm a pretty thin and fit person and couldn't walk up the stairs in my house without feeling like I was dying at the top.
I felt breathless while talking very early in both pregnancies. It didn't happen from physical exertion--I just sounded breathless when I spoke. It was so weird. I asked my doctor and he said it was a hormonal thing--can't remember the details. But it was after I knew I was pregnant....
Once you get pregnant, blood flow and blood volume increases, which makes you out of breath much more easily. Not sure how early that would happen though.
I am always winded a few days before my period comes.
I was having trouble breathing during my daily runs prior to finding out I was pregnant.
Yes, it can be, actually.
It was a symptom throughout my two successful pregnancies. Can't recall if I had it with the unsuccessful ones too. At any rate with the two good ones, it went away literally the moment baby was out.
Me too; had been running an hour a day, then suddenly had trouble going 15 minutes. |
I had problems for the first couple of weeks feeling winded.
I've noticed this as well.
This is my fourth pregnancy, and I have been winded/had shortness of breath since the beginning with this one. I have never experienced it before and I was in pretty good shape before getting pregnant. Even just standing still and talking, I am out of breath. The doctor said it's normal. I hope it goes away quickly after delivery.
YES - this is one of my most telltale pregnancy symptoms. I notice it when I run or work out. One day able to run 2mi no problem, next day can barely breathe. Turned out I was pregnant. Same thing happened during 2nd preganncy.
