is being winded really easily/out of breath an early pregnancy symptom before missed period?

No, it's a sign of low iron.

Like pretty much everything under the sun--it could be, but you won't know until you test! I had it (being winded) once cycle and was convinced (w/other "signs") that it was a BFP...BFN. The next month, fewer symptomy things...BFP. With that one, I think getting winded did kick in later though. Regardless, hoping for the best for you!

So, this actually did happen to me early in pregnancy (I think week #5), but after I could confirm via testing.

It was for me. I literally would be puffing after a block. I was 5'6" and 113 lbs. it stayed that way the whole pregnancy. My OB said it was hormones.

I mean literally the week of your missed period... can things shift that quickly?

Yes, was my tell tale sign with #2. Got easily winded walking a block and took a pregnancy test that day.

NP here. Yes, it happened to me in 2 different pregnancies before I took the pregnancy test. I normally exercised regularly and suddenly I was out of breath from a brisk walk.

It was for me. I was noticeably more winded just walking up a hill a week before I had a positive test.
