No worries - I know the main focus of this forum is the DC area, but many of us from other regions have come along with the national threads. I was just shocked the north teams were at the top of almost every single flight. |

This is where it stands right now for next year’s champions cup clubs. Top two clubs will represent mid atlantic south Charlotte Independence - 19pts VRSC and SYC - 12 pts McLean - 10 pts NVA and Charlotte Dev Academy - 9 pts Wake FC - 8 pts Triangle United - 4 pts Alexandria - 3 pts Likely Charlotte Independence and either VRSC/SYC/McLean |

This whole thread is basically mean girls. VRSC is trash, NVA = LD, LD is trash. LD coaches are only after money/ bad soccer managers. VRSC is a for profit/ VRSC coaches are womanizers and bad coaches…. This whole thread is basically the trashy housewives of Loudoun. Keep it up- hysterical. |

I was characterizing where CISC stood in ECNL MA before moving to GA. But yes, this is a board that mostly discusses “pay to play” youth soccer. If it weren’t “pay to play” then would you be comfortable discussing CISC GA success? Do you only talk MLS Academy soccer? Not MLSNext “pay to play” but MLS Academy. |

No I still wouldn’t be discussing CISC GA success because it’s kids soccer. It’s weird to discuss kids sports as if they were professionals. Kids sports are an enrichment activity we pay to enroll our kids and keep them busy. Like piano lessons and SAT prep. Imagine if we talked about different SAT prep businesses like we do soccer clubs, which ones had the best college acceptances because they developed those kids, made a big deal when a kid switched from one SAT prep business to another, called another SAT prep business trash because they were only interested in profits. Sounds silly doesn’t it? |

The same type of people who are trolls, holier than thous, and think everything other than what they want/do is trash, and etc are on DCUM discussing SAT and piano lessons. Have a look through the College and University threads sometime. It's similar to here except every kid isn't a 12 year old world class player they are geniuses and anything other than the best Ivy League schools (not the "bad" ones) or the finest European institutions of higher learning are beneath them and their child. |

There are still plenty of useful things that could and are discussed here. Age group changes, recommendations, tournament info. Genuine helpful stuff. I want more of that and less trash talk and silly stuff. It would make this place a lot better. |

Discussing the discrepancy in levels of leagues is helpful. CISC was a bottom feeding ECNL club and are now the best club in their GA division. This is helpful information for parents of young players. |
