I agree. His brain-washed cult members won't think that though. The headlines are all embarrassing and bad and I've had 8 friends in the FL Latino-Latina text me with WTF messages. All the clips of this particular rally circulating on social media makes it look like a grievance-filled anti-human rant by unhappy misfits.

yeah the vast majority of headlnes and press coming out of the event are all awful for the campaign.

Right wing voters don't care what the left wing media thinks.

This is generally accurate. A balanced article would interview attendees for their perception, and a reporter would not insert any other opinion or subjective perception into the article.

We all saw the video. But anyway, describe how you would have written balanced perception.

Green frogs are for the Extremely Online. Most Trump voters are normies who have no idea what you're talking about.

And no. They are not creating an alignment with Nazis. I'll just remind you of the pro Hamas protests. Were Jewish students safer at Harvard or at Georgia Tech?

Why do the Jewish keep coming up as a defense against Trump's fascism?

I think you need to Google what Nazism was about. That would clear things up.

Your fellow MAGA waved the white flag in their poorly-formatted post. So why don't you describe how the Jewish are relevant to Trump's brand of fascism?

Right wing voters don't care what the left wing media thinks.

What do they care about? What Trump tells them is true?

They care about immigration, surging crime, freedom of expression, a return to a sense of community and national pride. They care about America's competitiveness in the world economy, returning dignity to workers, preserving children's innocence, and maintaining global peace.

Trump isn't a Nazi and we all know it. You know it. You have to resort to name calling because you've got nothing.

There were children in attendance at that rally. Where the “jokes” were flying and that dude talked about sex and cum, and the Moms for Liberty lady was one of the speakers. I found that pretty hypocritical.

It doesn't feel like enthusiasm. It feels like blind rage mixed with fake bravado. It just feels aggro. And the crowd isn't just mostly white -- it is dominated by men. Like by a lot. It's weird to have a political rally that is this skewed.

A lot of the speakers have really extensive and weird looking plastic surgery. And not just the women or the Trumps. Tucker looks pinched and tucked in an uncomfortable way. Elon looks like an alien. It's uncanny valley stuff. If it was 1998 and you saw footage of this you'd be like "what is wrong with their faces -- why would anyone do this."

Regarding the "substance" they just repeat the same easily disproven lies over and over. A key talking point is that "they" tried to kill Trump. The implication is that of course the Democrats did it but he was shot at by a registered Republican with mental health issues.

The racism isn't just dog whistles. It's just open and contemptuous. They are saying that democrats are trying to "replace" Americans with immigrants. The comedian with all the racist lines was egregious but it's in line with the rest of the rally. They use words like "invasion" and "lowlifes" to describe immigrants and people who live in cities (while also praising NYC and claiming Trump "made" the city). It's very creepy.

Anyway Trump is talking now and he has less energy than most of the speakers who preceded him. He speaks in this dull monotone. The only person less convincing was melania who appeared to read her speech without comprehending it.

I just don't understand what is compelling about this unless you've just given up on life. It's offensive yes. But it's also just a bummer and extremely depressing.

I’m an immigrant and I’m not for open boarders. But how any immigrant could vote for Trump, esp. us non Anglo ones, baffles me. The writing is on the wall. He means you too, people. Is it denial? Leopards Ate My Face syndrome incoming for these people…

No one is for open borders. If there were open borders, then interdictions and apprehensions would be down to zero, and there would be no deportations. Instead, all of those are up under Biden.

DP. It is simply astounding that you STILL can't understand why all of those interdictions and apprehensions are up under Biden. It's been explained to you over and over, yet you still can't grasp why that is. I'll let you try and work it out. Good luck.

Because Trump's Wall was a stupid and catastrophic failure? Is that one of the reasons.

Interestingly, Kamala Harris called Trump's wall, "stupid, useless, and a medieval vanity project." Yet now, as a presidential candidate, she is committing $650 million to building it. Here's Anderson Cooper calling her out on her utter hypocrisy.

https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/23/politics/video/border-wall-kamala-harris-cnn-town-hall-digvid

Anderson is referring to money for the wall that was earmarked in the BIPARTISAN immigration bill. Dems including Harris didn't want to include money for the wall but they agreed to it in order to get stuff they did want -- that's how bipartisan lawmaking works and it's the only way to get a deal on an issue like immigration. Harris didn't advocate for that money for the wall and she has never "committed" to build the wall. But in a democracy like ours the White House is not a dictatorship and you have to work with Congress to get things done and build coalitions that involve compromise.

So I know you think you caught her in a lie or hypocrisy here but actually you are just betraying your ignorance of how government works or where that earmark originated.

This is how government is supposed to work. A compromise.

True governance is complicated, tedious, and boring. Most people don’t have the attention span/interest in following the details. It’s much easier to glom onto the prescribed talking points - and that’s for both sides.

Good to see most of the media actually calling racism racism. Then there’s this guy:

The MAGA trolls who start posting on DCUM in the wee hours of night are likely not US-based and the fact that they are extremely repetitive are likely because they have been given a script with certain talking points that they are supposed to promote. And, most foreign trolling operations are using their own VPNs and tools that give them IP addresses that are not on the lists of commercial VPN providers like NordVPN and so on and are not as easily detectable and blockable on that basis.

We already know that liberal media outlets have no integrity. They were going to write negative headlines about the rally regardless. That’s why Trump called them fake news. They act as the campaign arm of the DNC. Nobody cared about their fake outrage over John Kelly’s comments, so now they have moved on to writing negative headlines about a comedian’s (not even Trump’s) bad joke. Their bias is overwhelming and their integrity is zero, which is why so many Americans, like myself, don’t trust anything they report.

These headlines are all accurate. So you're just confirming that you only get your news from Trump's Twitter account and call everything else fake news?

Define "accurate"? Those articles are filled with subjective perceptions (some of which may be from reporters who didn't actually attend, and/or were mostly written before the event took place). Speaking of "vulgar," have you seen some of the ad campaigns coming out of the pro-Harris PACs in the past week?

Objectively, most reasonable people would consider these comments vulgar, racist, and/or misogynistic:
“Latinos “love making babies. There’s no pulling out. They come inside, just like they do to our country”

Pointing to a man in the audience: "That's cool, Black guy with a thing on his head. What the hell is that, a lamp shade? Look at this guy! Oh, my goodness. Wow! I'm just kidding, that's one of my buddies. He had a Halloween party last night. We had fun, we carved watermelons together. It was awesome!”

”She's a pretender. Her and her pimp handlers will destroy our country. They will."

“She is some sick b******, that Hillary Clinton, huh?" Rosenberg said. "What a sick son of a b****. The whole f****** party. A bunch of degenerates. Lowlives, Jew-haters, and lowlives. Every one of 'em. Every one of 'em."
