I have friends who benefited from loan forgiveness who are now in a position to look for their first home. The economy might be worse for you (though price gouging was absolutely a thing before Biden…) but it’s better for them.

I spoke to a friend yesterday who got their loans forgiven. He works for a social services nonprofit. I am so happy that he has dedicated his life to public service which has not allowed him to make as much money. He said it changed his life. I paid off my student loans last year. I don't work for a nonprofit and frankly, I was happy to pay them off. I'm also happy he has dedicated his life to service and continues to do so.

Trump and this generation of Republicans are fairly isolationist and do not seem keen to start stupid wars. Whereas Democrats like Biden and Clinton were all in when it came to invading Iraq, wasting trillions in Afghanistan, reckless military adventurism in Libya, and so on and so forth.

And I fear that Kamala Harris is going to be similarly reckless. Democrats have a mortal fear of being perceived as weak and are far too willing to resort to military force. He ended the keystone pipeline here in the US which also raised prices . It makes no sense to drill but ban a pipeline here . Drilling costs
