Which schools are teaching about Rainbow pride flags in preK? NONE. We go to one of the most progressive preschools in DC and they don’t teach about that. And, even if they did, the vaaaaaaaast majority of preK in this country is private schools. So parents can exercise their choice.
I just can’t with this naked bigot.
So, slam the messenger when there is evidence you don't like.
Truth is..... this type of crap is happening more than anyone previously knew.
“Crap”
There are all kinds of families and we should be kind to everyone?
Is that really what you consider “crap”?
Telling five-year olds that they can “feel like” a boy or a girl and change that material fact is the “crap”.
Why is that “crap”?
What does it mean to “feel like a girl” or “feel like a boy”?
Those mean different things to different people.
Why is it crap?
Telling a 5 YO boy that if they "feel like" a girl and they can change to be a girl is just blatantly anti-science.
It is at the very least confusing for a 5 YO.
You cannot change your sex. You just can't.
We are discussing gender, not sex.
Gender does NOT supersede sex. Gender USED to be a term interchangeable with "sex" to designate male or female. One's sex cannot be changed.
A 5 YO does not understand the concept of "gender" as it is currently used.
There is no place for gender instruction in the elementary years.
They are two different things.
Sounds like you are stuck in the past. Here’s a good explanation for you:
https://medicine.yale.edu/news-article/what-do-we-mean-by-sex-and-gender/
Hope that clarified things for you.
Why would there be an age restriction on gender instruction? Kids will get it much more easily than some of the old-timers on this thread. They also understand why it’s important to be nice to everyone. Maybe you can learn something from these kids.
So…activist on this thread has:
- used risk of suicide bullying
- used ageism bullying
- used ‘lack of intelligence’ bullying
All to try and prove a point. Hint: If you need to bully to get your point across, you HAVE no valid point.
And that’s just the short list.
