FSH of 17

Anonymous
I'm 38 and we have male factor infertility, but it appears as if we have other troubles as well. Five months ago, my AMH was 1.3 and FSH was 9.5. I produced 11 eggs, 7 were mature and 5 fertilized. None made it to blast. Just five months later, my FSH is 17!!! Same AMH. My doctor sounded relatively upbeat that IVF could still work, but after googling this, I'm seriously concerned. I'm on the antagonist protocol. Should I be on a different protocol? Should I even bother continuing with my own eggs?

I can't say what protocol would be right for you but I can say that for me, antagonist resulted in no blasts and long agonist resulted in five.
