How often do you replace your cutlery?

Curious. Also, does all your cutlery match?

What? We still use whatever we got when we got married, 18 years ago. Didn't realize it needed to be replaced periodically. Still in great shape. Yes, it all matches.

We got one of those block sets by Henkel when we were first married 19 years ago and it's what we still have.

^^ what kind of pieces would I lose? I wouldn't miss a fork or knife if I lost it. Most matches although we have a few non matching that we owned before we got married and still use those

When we lose enough pieces that it starts to be annoying. Now, in other words (due to our last move 2 years ago).

We don't take it out of our house. There's silverware at each of our jobs.

Had the same set for the last 14 years, still like it and looks in perfect condition. When we got married 5 years ago, I registered for an extra set of what I had thinking it would come in handy if pieces get lost, etc.

The extra set is still in the closet!

I bought an extra set after our first big party, when my friend Hannah called to say "I'm leaving my house now, do you need me to pick you up anything?" and I said, "Bring all your forks and spoons!"

I try to avoid public silverware.
Obviously no choice at restaurants...
