I love Ralph Lauren, but I hate that they’ve done these attached tie-front things with a ton of their dresses. It looks good from the front, but really strange from other angles.

lol, I wish they had that much capacity for self-reflection. But I think the staff usually coordinate, no? In part to make sure they don’t show up in dresses that look too similar and end up looking like bridesmaids or something. (Funny story — my sister and I once showed up to an event in exactly the same dress from nordstroms — we had not coordinated and just happened to buy the same thing. They had to put other people between us in all the pictures.).

It wouldn’t surprise me if Mel is not coordinating with her staff this time around and is just sort of doing whatever she wants for those lower level events. Having her main assistant from last admin write that tell all book probably made her hate the whole gig even more than she previously did.

so nobody's going to comment on this? I'm only thinking unfriendly thoughts so ... Ok I'll share. I think Tiff often looks good but this cuts her off and looks sausage-y. Also, I love the back drama but the front doesn't match it IMO.
