I know we can just go look at the DCPS site for actual facts and figures to make well educated and informed predictions, but that's not as fun....?. It would be nice to have some hope. Please lottery swami!!

Lol how did you know? Langley was fine this year and will be fine next year. I am not sure we would switch, actually , because the Langley teachers for PK4 are both great, and we would likely leave either school next year or the year after anyway.

Do you think these schools will take anyone until after Labor Day? I'd think they'd wait and see who moves in-bounds over the summer.

Swami says it is going to be a long long summer for you. You will get a Hyde-Addison call, with warning that your 2nd may not get pulled in. You will call Shepherd often and get a call two days before count day. For only your 4th grader.

New Stokes will be approved and will actually be east of the river. They will use political lean to get a surplused DCPS building.

The MV expansion will be postponed, revisited in 6 months, and eventually approved for SY 18-19

Swami says because you want Montessori you will begrudgingly be at Langdon. You will represent the school at EdFest. You will call SSMA weekly up until count day.
