Do you miss your spouse when he or she travels?

MY husband is gone for 10 days. I am on my 5th day. I am really starting to miss him! It's nice actually. I had been definitely taking him for granted before a bit.

No. We have a great marriage, love each other very much but I don't miss him. Time apart is just as important as time together

no. but 10 days in a row is a lot. maybe you should go on a trip or invite a good friend over for a long weekend.

Oh, I'm catching up on lot's of stuff and am seeing friends etc. When I say I miss him I don't mean that I am unhappy or that I am lonely. Just that I have positive emotions of wishing I could share x, y or z thought with him etc. I'm happy to feel this way because we have been going through a bit of a tough time with some outside stuff and had been grating on each other a bit.

Yes- I find I need some "adult" time - with 2 younger teens i miss that adult connection time we get just before bed- a back-up for parenting, someone else to start the dishwasher, a nice kiss before heading off to work. Mine's leaving for 2 wks soon- sigh.

I do! I don't need to be in constant contact when he's gone, and we mostly just text when one of us is out of town, but I do miss his company.

Not that much, but he rarely travels more than a day or two at a time. I travel much more often. I enjoy a break now and then to do what I want when I want.

Not really. I love him, but I love having time to myself, and he's a tiring person--very needy and intense. We normally spend most of our time together, working from home and both being homebodies.

Nope. Not one bit.

Yep. I miss him bad. But I also like being alone a lot now. Secret single behavior! Once the kids are asleep I do whatever the hell I want. I eat cereal for dinner or nothing. I love eating a big lunch and nothing for dinner, wheras dh doesn't eat lunch and loves a huge dinner. I lose weight even when he's gone. I also get to binge shows I know dh would hate.

I miss DW when I'm on travel. Try to come back as quickly as I can.

Yep, but I also LOVE it!

A two day trip is fine as I can just do my own thing. But my DH has been gone for eight days and doesn't return until Saturday night and I really miss him. I sure hope he's not tired as I've been having some pretty dirty thoughts about what I'd like to do with him.
